Boot Camps

IP Challenge

Cable-Tec Games

The annual international event is always a highlight of the Expo. Cable Games participants compete against each other for gold, silver, and bronze awards in a variety of cable-related events including cable splicing, meter reading, cable jeopardy, and MTDR.

Philadelphia: Where to Visit near the Convention Center

Center City East/West: Home to the downtown core and location of the Pennsylvania Convention Center, this district offers travelers theatre and music venues, museums, views of City Hall, historic Chinatown, and the recently announced Broad Street Arts Activation Project, which is set to illuminate the street in an outdoor gallery of light, colour, art, and local performance.

Old City: Just a short trip from the convention center, Old City represents the roots of American Independence. Walk along the Delaware River and see historic landmarks such as the Liberty Bell, Constitution Hall, and Independence Hall. This historic neighbourhood has a European feel and stunning classic architecture. Taverns, pubs, and brick-walled restaurants await your visit.

South Philly: Philly Cheesesteaks — need we say more? Head down to South Philly for an abundance of mouth-watering restaurants, delis, pizzerias, and cheap dive bars. Home to the Philadelphia Sports Complex, you can check out Philly’s premier football, basketball, and baseball stadiums, all located within walking distance of each other.

Independence National Historic Park: Come to ‘America’s most historic square mile’, at this L-shaped park that served as the U.S. headquarters for Benjamin Franklin and the Revolutionary War. Philly Cheesesteak at John’s Roast Pork — Head down to South Philly to eat a world-famous cheesesteak at one of the city’s top locations.
